What this is
Every package of food of animal origin sold in the European Union carries an
oval mark: a country code, an approval number, and EC. The number
identifies the establishment that produced or packed the food. This site turns
that number back into a name and an address.
⚠ The registers are not equally complete. Germany publishes 1 830 establishments through TRACES against 15 803 in its national register. A number that returns nothing here is not evidence that the establishment is unapproved — see about and limits.
